This 4-week workshop introduces mindfulness and helps youths in grades 7 to 9 engage in age-appropriate practices that will help them build essential coping, stress management, and self-regulation skills.
Workshop participants will explore practices that can help them notice their emotions, regulate their reactions and responses, improve their focus, and meet challenges. By the end of this workshop, your youth will gain new skills in processing emotions and experiences and managing anxiety.
Youths improve their self-regulation and focus.
Youths will learn techniques for managing thoughts and processing events and emotions in a healthy way.
Youth will learn how to unwind and transition between daily activities and into sleep states at the end of the day.

This workshop is in-person ONLY.
The workshop consists of 4 weekly, 90-minute meetings with the facilitator and workshop group.
