Expressive storytelling helps you uncover your told and untold stories. It is a way to safely let loose your feelings about things that you may have been conditioned to ignore, shut out, or put up with. It is also a way to celebrate your accomplishments, large and small.
Journaling is an expressive storytelling method, but to get to better states of mental and emotional health, our stories need to be understood, attended to, and told in a way that does not cause further harm to ourselves or others. Sometimes the story needs to be shared so that others can learn and act from it.
I provide a range of small group storytelling and journaling workshops that fit all skill levels. You do not have to be a writer or storyteller to document and tell your story. I can show you different methods, such as art journaling and artefact storytelling, which requires minimal writing skills.
I can also teach you how to safely and comfortably express your story in a way that fits you, your style of expression, and the message your want to convey.
Good to Know:
There is a 7-day refund and withdrawal policy on all workshops, except retreats and micro-workshops. Once a workshop begins, there are no refunds for withdrawals and no-shows. However, depending on the circumstances, you may transfer your workshop fee to a future workshop or retreat. These situations are assessed on a case by case basis. Please get in touch if you have questions.
